Climate
St Martin is sunny and warm all year round, with average temperatures varying little throughout the year. Temperatures in coastal areas range from 72-86ºF (22-30ºC). The winds blow a fairly regular 15 knots from mid-March to mid-April. Showers can be expected at any time of year but rainstorms pass quickly. There is one season for hurricanes: between July through November with the highest probability in early September.

Saint Martin has good winds, medium seas and several short distance sails to fantastic spots such as Ile Pinel and Tintamarre, Anguilla or Saint Barth. St. Martin is divided across the middle, the southern part is Dutch and the northern part French. Blessed with many superb white sand beaches, backed by scenic hills, it has embraced tourism wholeheartedly. The whole island has duty free shopping, there are casinos, scores of hotels and condominiums and charters yachts are very much appreciated here.


Diving :
The water surrounding the island is filled with a wonderful diversity of marine life, including coral and has a variety of old shipwrecks for diving enthusiasts to discover. Lots of diving centers around the Islands.

Oyster Pond
On the border between the French and Dutch sides, the Oyster Pond Marina is a full service marina with a fuel dock, laundry, bars and restaurants where you can sample local seafood as well as international dishes.There is a well-stocked supermarket for provisioning, drinks and ice as well as showers and accommodation available at the on site hotel.

Anse Marcel
A pleasant beach in a cozy little harbor, next to the Marina Port de Lonvilliers. Many boats depart from this marina. The shallow water is ideal for families with small children. The marina is lined with fine shopping, hotels, and many restaurants.

Marigot Port La Royale
A bustling marina boasting one of the largest shopping arcades on St Martin and a host of little restaurants and bars.

Marigot Fort Louis
The 150 berth Marina Fort Louis has recently been upgraded with a second sea wall in order to protect the docks and yachts better from the swells. It has direct access to the sea, where yachts at Dutch side marinas need to deal with the Simpson Bay bridge.

Simpson Bay
A full service marina on the Dutch side of the island with 120 slips accomodating yachts up to 61 meters, water, gas and diesel fuel, showers, provisioning, chandlery, laundry, convenience store, bars, restaurants, pool, tennis courts etc..

St. Bart’s
St. Bart’s is a natural marine reserve and is an attractive destination for those who enjoy diving. St Bart’s is often referred to as the St Tropez or Porto Cervo of the Caribbean. Gustavia will make you feel as though you stepped into south of France. Ile Fourche is a great spot for an overnight anchorage.

St. Kitts & Nevis
St. Kitts is one of the most seductive islands of the Caribbean and the island remains uncrowded and unspoiled.
