Climate
The climate of the Caribbean is tropical, but there are local variations, depending on mountain elevation, water currents, and the trade wind. Temperatures are almost always moderate with very little seasonal variation.

When it comes to Caribbean sailing, there is nowhere better than the Virgin Islands: it is one of the finest and safest sailing areas in the world. The British Virgin Islands are a group of small and mostly uninhabited. The waters are superb for swimming, snorkelling, diving and sailing. Most of the islands have a volcanic origin which gives character to the terrain.
